Personal Training – Weight Loss Tip
Do you like a sweet dessert? But want to avoid the calories? But you know dessert such as ice-cream is not a good option right? Well here is a quick an easy recipe to make your own…
So if you are trying to lose weight, remember that sugar is one of your biggest enemies. So you should not be running down the street when you hear Mr ice-cream van singing around, even if that music hypnotizes you. But you can still run in the street when there is no ice-cream van or more likely keep it out of your shopping trolley.
My solution to is to make your own from some really simple ingredients and you need a fairly robust blender. I recommend a Thermomix or contact Sally for more information
Here is my Body and Business Balance Healthy Sorbet recipe per person serve:
1 cup filtered water ice, 1 cup of your favorite fruit such as Mango, Apricot, Peach, Strawberries 1 egg white
Place in blender and let it rip until all your ice and fruit is blended.
Then enjoy your drink and know that you have only consumed fresh and healthy ingredients, instead of a highly processed, preservative and calorie laden ice-cream purchased and made from who knows what (mostly air – yes air, milk, preservatives and sugar by the way).
There is another quiet advantage too, it will save you money. Buying gelati and desserts can be on the very expensive side.
However, I do recommend only up to 2 serves of fruit per day when trying to lose weight. So keep my recipe down to one a day.
If you are an athlete this is ideal way to replenish your carbohydrates.
Also a great favorite for your kids, so let them play and move more, then reward them with a home desset alternative which is quick and simple to make in minutes.
So parents, leave the sugar boxes called ice-cream back at the supermarket and leave it away from inside your home, so it wont be eaten and make your hips worse off.
